I’m often asked what led me to focus on people - both customers and teams. What’s my fascination with the power of humanity, and our desire to belong. Why do things like togetherness, shared values, and connection interest me?

Well….. when you built a career around customers and brands, you begin to see connections between what happens inside of a business, which affects greatly what happens to the customer. And then, there’s a moment, when you realize that everything you’ve done is focused upon one thing: human connection.

After my years in global advertising and at Amazon, I knew I could offer more, do more, and share more - and share what I learned and studied. I constantly felt that if companies and brands could make a tiny pivot towards people, they could become tribal, and continue to grow year-on-year.

Anthony Reeves….

..... (the official bio is below), I'm a dad, a husband, and a complete nut about humanity and cultural anthropology. My passions include endurance sports (a very long story for another day), CAF (Challenged Athletes Foundation), and Diversity (I have won awards for my DEI efforts). My national and international sports stories are woven into all presentations.

But I'm living my dream: "Helping businesses grow, change and reshape. I love sharing the latest insights, sharing how companies are succeeding, and sharing how to turn challenges and changes into exciting opportunities.

The Real Bio

Anthony Reeves (written in 3rd person as all good bios are) is an alchemy of business leadership as a humanist and futurist. He lives at the center of leadership, customer obsession, and driving change for Growth. Anthony's international work in leadership, marketing, eMarketing (Amazon), and creativity has been covered by The WSJ, Forbes, Fortune, The NYT, Seattle Times, Adobe CMO, CES, Digiday, CNBC, The Drum, Politico, AdAge, Live (Russia) and Kampanje (Nordics). 

He's a recognized and awarded leader in business, marketing, and customer experiences. He places the customer first and designs product, organizations/teams, and brand experiences around those customers. He fully believes he ‘earned a better MBA at Amazon’

Anthony’s approach is humble warmth. And Anthony’s aim is to always keep learning, leave positivity, and helping others grow - whether it be via a motivational keynote, strategic session, consulting, or a workshop.

Anthony began his career as a creative inside of some of the world's best advertising agencies in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United States. He was a Global Director at Amazon when the department grew from just over $1B to almost $20B, as well as Chief Creative and Strategy Officer at Wunderman Thompson, WPP, Publicis, and LMVH (CMO) before creating ReevesJones and joining Courage Brands. 

ReevesJones is a global consultancy helping businesses and brands transform digitally through leadership workshops and customer-experience growth workshops. (Clients: Kia, SEAT, McKinsey, WPP, Accenture, Boston Consulting, Bain, Salesforce, Eve Hansen, The North Face, L'Oreal.)

At Amazon and while already an established leader, he became fascinated as to how some large companies ensured that great ideas rise quickly and then are executed even quicker - and how some companies just fade away. His dynamic style and customer-first approach have benefited some the world's most respected organizations: Amazon, Nike, LVMH, L'Oreal, Microsoft, Newell, Verizon, Diageo, Wells Fargo, Westpac, QANTAS, JPMC, London School of Design and many more. 

Australians are nomads by birth. Anthony carries his passports (yes, plural) with him always, and all he needs is a plane ticket.

Anthony has been recognized for his work by key industry award shows: Cannes Lions, Effie's, NY Festival, The One Show, among others.

Anthony’s proudest was when he was also the first-ever male winner of the 3% Conference's Manbassador award (Diversity) and still is a major supporter of the #Seeher initiative.
